GILROY – No. 5 state-ranked City College of San Francisco continued its hot streak on Wednesday with an 8-0 Coast Conference victory at Gavilan College. The Rams are unbeaten in their last seven games (6-0-1) and have won four straight.
Seven different Rams scored in Wednesday's rout. Nuria Lopez Adorno led CCSF with two goals while the Rams got single goals from Nelzy Dominguez, Ashley Rabara, Tegan Smith, Abigael Zennadi, Azariya Smith, and Luz Hernandez.
Bailey Perales had an easy time in goal, needing to make just one save in posting the Rams' fourth shutout of the season.
CCSF was scheduled to take on Las Positas College on Friday (Oct. 10) but the Hawks were forced to forfeit the contest. With the forfeit win, the Rams improved to 9-2-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the Coast Conference North Division standings.
San Francisco is back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 14) when the Rams host Chabot College in a 4 p.m. Coast Conference game.
