NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONALS BRACKET
The City College of San Francisco women's soccer team will begin its run towards a state championship this Saturday after the Rams were named the No. 4 seed for the upcoming 3C2A Northern California Regional Playoffs.
As a top-8 seed, the Rams received an opening-round bye and will host the winner of No. 13 Cañada College and No. 20 College of the Sequoias on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 2 p.m. in San Francisco.
Ticket prices for the 3C2A postseason game are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. The Rams will making their 14th straight postseason appearance after capturing the 2024 Coast Conference North Division championship. Under head coach Jeff Wilson, CCSF compiled a 14-2-3 overall record during the regular season and went 8-1-2 in conference play to earn its second straight Coast North title.
CCSF is looking to return to the state championships for the first time since 2013. Last year, the Rams advanced to the third round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.
Cañada from the Coast Conference South Division enters the postseason with an 11-6-3 overall record. The Colts finished third in the final Coast South standings at 6-4-1.
Sequoias from the Central Valley Conference went 9-6-4 during the regular season and was third in the CVC at 7-4-3. The Rams and Giants did not face each other this season.
CCSF and Cañada met in the regular-season finale and played to a 1-1 draw while the Rams have not faced COS this season.
Three wins are needed by the Rams to advance to the 3C2A State Championships on Dec. 6 & 8 at American River College in Sacramento.
