Women's Soccer Team Gets Into Gear for Final Stretch

The last time the City College of San Francisco Women’s Soccer Team lost a game was on October 9. Since then, then the Rams have won five straight games and are looking to sweep their last two games of the season.

During this impressive run, the Rams have outscored their opponents 19-3. Unlike previous years, the offense is coming from all over their roster. Midfielder Melisa Gardina, forward Shaylah Youngdale, forward Carolina Cortez, and midfielder Ileana Mercado lead the team in goals scored with 10, 9, 5, and 5, respectively.

Goalkeeper Michelle Gonzalez continues to shine in front of the net. She has a 13-3 record and a miniscule goals against average of 0.67. She’s has 76 saves on the season
